In this Module:

Our beloved family members, who call home their residence, deserve straightforward, flavourful and nourishing meals that they can eagerly look forward to. These dishes should be simple for them to prepare, minimizing effort and time, thus empowering older individuals to maintain independence in their culinary endeavours. For those facing physical limitations, cognitive decline, or other challenges, the support of family members or caregivers becomes crucial.

Addressing these challenges requires a holistic approach that considers not only the nutritional aspects but also the social and emotional components of eating.

We aim to provide ideas and recipes that are not only easy and flavourful but also packed with essential nutrients, promoting overall well-being for older individuals.

We will explore the difficulties that the elderly encounter when living alone and by recognising the unique needs of the elderly and implementing supportive measures, we can enhance their quality of life and promote healthy ageing.
